There are two levels of writing help from me. One in which I powerfully support and devotedly assist you in knowing what to do, teaching you how to fish, as it were. In the second option, I work with you in a more hands-on way to help you birth the great work you have within you.

The thing about you is that it’s not just any book that you’re writing.

You are writing your story. You are revealing yourself. You are sharing who you are. And in the process, you are mining your story… excavating your story… finding the meaning, the lessons, and the powerful takeaways that your very own life has yielded up to you.

You are writing a story that will help others. And in order to write that story, you have to own that story. You have to excavate that story and you have to go on the healing journey it requires to bring forth the plotline, the arc, the storyline you are going to share. It’s a multi-dimensional affair that’s so much more than merely “writing.”

It’s a beautiful process… and it’s a brutal process. It’s holy… and it’s god-awful. It’s magical and it’s messy. And I love to guide, steward, and inspire people just like you through that all-consuming creative process, a process that will honor the journey itself, while also being hell bent on bringing the project to fruition.

What you’re writing is visionary. It’s complicated. It’s layered. It’s nuanced. It’s vulnerable. You’ve really been through something and it takes a delicate sensibility and a glorious way with words to express adequately and indeed exquisitely what you’ve been through.

What you’re writing about is far from the usual. Your experiences have been way outside the box. Your experiences have been on the leading edge of human evolution. You are an outright trail-blazer and a pioneer. You are in the advance-guard. You are a way-show-er. You are a natural teacher though your book isn’t necessarily “teacherly” in its tone. Your life experience is meant to encourage people and to help them find their way.

Being altogether unique, a true original, you need a special kind of writing help from a special kind of book-guide. And I am just that… a book-whisperer, a book midwife, a book alchemist. And with me as your trusty midwife, we will do our best to work together to make your book-birthing process relatively harmonious, even if there will inevitably be some pain points and challenges along the way, as there are in every birth.

From our work together, you will take your solid draft—your layered, elegant, and visionary manuscript—to a professional editor for finishing touches and turn it into a truly mastered, optimized, structurally sound, and grammatically meticulous final product.

This level is less hands-on and more up to you, though the undergirding you get from me is entirely palpable and generous of spirit.

How we make the magic happen…

We kick off with a two-hour INSIGHT session, identifying and focusing on your specific needs for your book and your process of writing it.

Thereafter, we meet for five additional one-hour INSIGHT sessions. These are spaced out at every two weeks. In these sessions you will receive support, guidance, accountability, and inspiration—for the remainder of the 12-week journey. In these sessions we will also address any questions, concerns, or dilemmas you have about your book and your creative process.

In general, you can expect to receive:

2.    A book Outline that we create together.

3.    Designation and support in the matter of “what to do” and “how to do it.”

TITANIUM LEVEL

one-on-one | a 12-week journey

This level is hands-on help from me, but not at the level of “wrap-around” support. It’s a happy medium in which you have a very real investment in you and eyes on your process. And at the same time, YOU are responsible for the bulk of your writing experience and “gettin’ ‘er done.”

Here’s how we make the magic happen:

1.    TWELVE CONSULTATIONS WITH ME, 1 PER WEEK

• THREE of them are 2-Hour Creative Deep Dives, spaced one-month apart.

• NINE of them are 1-Hour Creative Accountability and Check-In Session, held weekly.

3.    A book Outline that we create together.

4.    Designation and support in the matter of “what to do” and “how to do it.”

5.    Suggested subtopics, themes, theses, arguments, angles, and chapter breakdowns you can choose from.

8.    At the very end I will read what you’ve written of your draft and offer feedback and suggestions.

9. You will get laser coaching within our weekly sessions on any questions or concerns you have or any challenges or blocks or obstacles you are confronting along the way.

10. OPTIONAL: You will be given the opportunity to add to this itinerary a weekly one-hour consultation with a highly skilled and qualified member of my team for the twelve weeks, in which case you will receive additional sustained support, guidance, feedback on your writing, and accountability with your writing process. This is a very useful addition, for the right person who requires a little extra assistance and a slightly more hands-on element built into your writing journey. You can stack the twelve sessions into SIX two-hour sessions with my team member, if you prefer.

Based on where we get together at the end of our twelve week commitment, you may be eligible to sign up for an additional 12-weeks with me (after taking a two-month break) OR you can graduate out from our work and work with a professional editor to clean up and optimize your manuscript. We would complete our partnership after either ONE or TWO 12-week cycles, and you will take it from there.

The difference is that you receive *twelve* TWO-HOUR Creativity Consultations with me, one per week, in which I offer my directives, guidance, insight, support, and galvanizing.

And for each of the *twelve* weeks you receive up to FOUR-HOURS of Hands-On Creative Support for your writing project. This additional four-hours of time will be used as ever we assess it’s needed. It can be me reading what you’ve written so far and offering feedback, it can be concrete help with your writing process, it can be editing, it can be refining your ideas, it can be addressing any questions or concerns or challenges you have… whatever will keep your project moving along with optimal flow and momentum.
