Formal Bio
Naomi Aeon, PhD is a writer, mentor, and mystic, devoted to the art of remembrance. She helps humans remember who they are beneath the noise of identity and the pull of polarity. As the founder of the AEON UNDERGROUND, she designs pathways from separation to Oneness, teaching self-mastery as both an inner art and a world-healing practice.
A former professor at Harvard and Yale, Naomi earned her doctorate in History of Consciousness, with scholar-activist Angela Davis as her advisor. She left academia to build living classrooms of consciousness… immersive spaces where culture, spirit, and imagination converge.
Naomi’s essays have appeared in HuffPost, MindBodyGreen, Transitions Magazine, and The Black Scholar. Named “A Woman to Watch in Wellness,” she is the author of three forthcoming books that illuminate the hidden cults of culture; the sacred work of race and identity; and the alchemy of transformation through loss.
Based between New York City and Los Angeles, Naomi moves between coasts—and worlds—continuing her favorite expedition: the ongoing excavation of the self, where consciousness meets the creative impulse.
