I’m Naomi.

I explore how self-knowledge becomes world-healing.

Through language, imagination, and myth, I help people remember who they are and what they’re here to create.

I’m a former Ivy-League prof turned cultural midwife, who left academia to explore the living edge where consciousness meets creativity.

My work bridges the intellect and the intuition, helping both people and cultures reclaim their original imagination.

Through my books, essays, salons—and my mentoring and ghost-writing for public figures—I serve as a catalyst, guiding the birth of a more whole humanity.

Bicoastal, I’m based in LA and NYC; a mom of three; and of African American and Swedish American descent.

MY FOUR PILLARS FOR LIVING ONENESS:

1. Know Thyself.

2. Understand Others.

3. Honor Difference.

4. Prioritize Interconnectivity.

KNOW THYSELF comes first. Because how can we overcome our default of division—and how can we connect with our fellow humans—when we’re disconnected from ourselves? How can we expect to understand others when we don’t understand ourselves? Self-knowledge is a powerful catalyst for world change. Click to read my 12 Tenets for living Socrates’ timeless credo, KNOW THYSELF.

KNOW THYSELF

Oneness is a truth we must embrace…not a luxury we can’t afford.

— NAOMI AEON, PHD

A better world begins with a better you and me.

In order to overcome division, we must BE THE CHANGE we wish to see in the world. The world is playing its notes off-key because we, as individuals, are off-key within ourselves. Let’s learn to live in tune. In harmony. In line with—and in integrity with—our personal truths and our organic sense of things. And let’s refuse to be “divided and conquered.”
